      Hello Praveen,

Most of the material I used relied on official bootcamp and ASJPR/JMV provided in training sessions.

      Hello Umair,

I used official SRX series Book for the reading honestly and nothing else as of now, I have seen INE video series for JNCIE-Sec but felt they could have included much more than that. Most of the course-ware is really basic and only the book SRX series is making more sense along with design and Juniper Partner traiing videos.

    Hi Rakesh,

I am interested to get JNCIE-SP certification, before I have to get JNCIA-SP, JNCIS-SP and JNCIP-SP. Any advice?

Thank you for your blog, it’s really interesting.

      Hi Cris,

unlike cisco as you know its compulsory with Juniper to get those certified before you attempt the lab. With respect to the advise VMX is the best bet, there are two variants one vmx is a normal one (14.x) version i believe no longer downloadable from juniper which is a single VM and hassle free, for your prep work this should be more than enough than the latest ones.

Follow the Juniper official courses, if you are partner or have a partnership with Juniper you can actually buy course-ware (not the training but the actual course-ware) and should be able to do most of the stuff on your own, its not that hard and now a days there is a lot of help for juniper training out there

the critical criteria – First understand the importance of logical-systems and how to build them so that you can do your prep almost on a single VM, secondly you need to lab at least 1 topic a day and document it anywhere instead of doing say 15 odd topics on a weekend, that really helped me in many ways

Anything else feel free to shoot me a question

      Glad you liked the blog.
